Kalank is Varun and Alia’s fourth cooperation after Student Of The Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Fans are likewise eager to watch Sanjay and Madhuri together on screen after more than two decades.

In a tweet, Varun called Kalank his “greatest film till date” and said that he was “insane energized” to be a piece of it. Touted to be a show set against the Partition and autonomy battle during the 1940s, the film was initially conceptualized 10 years and a half prior.
